i've been spending my days with melissa and april. that is fun.
arielle n kassandra are pissed at me because i'm never there. but i am.. they just can't see me o_o. it's not my fault that i'm never home. i'm coming home today, they can maybe hang out with me? yeah. i hope. i've got my spanish project to do though, i have to find the work that i did or the notes that i took. i forgot where i put it, i hope nobody threw it away because that would be shitty. wow, i'm actually writing how i want to. it's not like anyone reads this loser old thing anyways. gosh ::mumbles::
dancing- dance practice for precon.. can i do it? if i have a ride, melissa bailed on me n abril so we're screwed. i didnt really want to dance anymore anyways, i dont want to let people down though. it's too late for me to quit.. people probably think i suck though.. i don't even have a partner for that one dance. oh who cares.
yesterday i had boba, that was the highlight of my day.
something bad happened to one of my friends, i want to tell someone about it, what should i do?! i want to be a good friend, tell an adult, junk like that. am i really up to it? can i do it? would i let my friend down... would my friend get mad? damn all of this bullshit. >_< no cussing. i have to pray every time i cuss. it's my new thing. i just have to stick to it.. i'll pray more and cuss less. w00 for that. ok ok gotta go bye! *kristin*

hey... today was err. an alright day. had a lot of tests. i have so much homework. i'm volunteering at a 'seder supper' for church... i'm at the church right now. i can't stay very long because we are visiting tita azela*sp* at the hospital. i found out that she has cancer, i hope/pray that she will be alright! i've been so tired today...bleh. well yeah i'm just goin to go. bye *kristin*

the word 'ghetto'

it's used often... as a verb and an adjective. Is it an adjective though? I've been hearing the term often lately.. I don't use it.. but people refer to lower things as 'ghetto' or things that are broken, things that are dirty, places with a lot of black people, places that look dirty, things that are cheap, etc.

1. A section of a city occupied by a minority group who live there especially because of social, economic, or legal pressure.
2. An often walled quarter in a European city to which Jews were restricted beginning in the Middle Ages.

oh, no adjective. do you think it's right that people use the term 'ghetto' in a wrong way? like.. lets say we go to university mall.. the "ghetto" mall. why is it ghetto? it's a very nice mall! oh wait, there's swarms of black people. does that really make the mall ghetto? it's in a decent area. it's not... dirty.. i don't think. so what if there's a bunch of black people at a mall or an area. does that make it ghetto? what? because they listen to rap and dress a certain way.. that makes them ghetto? the ghetto is a very rough place.. poor place.. place with a lot of crime. okay, so rappers rap about the ghetto.. they say they're ghetto because they lived there. i understand that, but that doesn't make the mall ghetto, that doesn't make a folder ghetto. idk. i just don't like hearing it. tell me what you think!
